A note from our Chairperson.

Dear friend of True Kind Foundation,

Every program on this website started as someone's small decision to show up — a volunteer who kept coming back, a donor who asked hard questions before writing a cheque, a family who let us into their neighbourhood before we'd earned any right to be there. None of what we do works without that first, ordinary act of trust.

I want to be honest about what we are: not a large institution, not a finished project, but a group of people trying to do a few things properly rather than many things loosely. We measure what we can. We say plainly when something hasn't worked. We ask for help when we need it. That's the whole method.

If you're reading this while deciding whether to volunteer, donate, or simply trust us with your time — thank you for taking that decision seriously. We don't take it lightly either. Kindness, in our experience, is the easy part. Organising it, sustaining it, and being accountable for it is the actual work, and it's the work we've committed ourselves to.
